Convenience to theater
I was staying at Allegro Royal Sonesta Chicago Loop, because of it close proximity to the Cadillac Palace Theater (same building) to watch a musical. So, location was perfect, but not just for that. Hotel is located in walking distance to the river, lake and all the sites worth seeing. All hotel personnel was super nice and helpful, we also had a quick dinner at the hotel bar before the show and enjoyed tasty cocktails there. Bed King size, was very comfortable, room was quite large for the hotel. Everything was very clean.
Staff was great, very clean, comfy beds, great cocktails and mocktails, plus food. Right next door to the Cadillac Palace Theater. Location is great for a stay-cation.

We were upgraded to a king suite for no additional cost! They let us check in early too (there was a cost for that - $25). It was well worth it though. Great location in the loop, close to theatres, restaurants, and the train! Easy to get anywhere and still a nice quiet retreat at the end of the night.

The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and excited to explore the city. It's in the West loop so it's close to major transit stations and all the cultural attractions.

18th Floor the view was city fun!! The room was beautiful, loved the high bed and the robes!!! The hotel was so elegant, loved the complimentary high tea and scones. The location was amazing, right next to (attached) the Cadillac Theater. The staff were all so friendly and happy!
Our first time staying downtown Chicago on a mom–daughter trip to see Phantom of the Opera, and the Allegro Sonesta made it unforgettable. A knock at our door—surprise, surprise! A complimentary bottle of wine and a delicious cheese, meat, and cracker platter. Such a thoughtful touch! Dru, you truly made our trip so special. We appreciate you immensely. The location and charm of this hotel were perfect. We loved it so much we’re already planning our return soon!!!
